Letter from the Editor

In September and October, Kentucky will be presented with an almost unbelievable opportunity to reach a demographic never seen before in the Commonwealth. We will be visited by more than 600,000 visitors, more than twice the combined population of all of Northern Kentucky, including Boone, Kenton and Campbell counties, but also all of the communities that border it.

Imagine, if you can, two-thirds of those folks having college degrees and more than half of them owning four horses, three vehicles, two homes and a net worth approaching $1 million. For more than three weeks, these same people, who are, to borrow a phrase, jetsetters, living amongst us—will be dining in our restaurants and shopping in our stores.
