Kraft Brothers, Inc. is the Newest Sponsor of the International Equestrian Festival
Lexington, KY— In just over one year, the International Equestrian Festival will kick-off in downtown Lexington and for 16 days, the city will be bustling with excitement and activities. Visitors will have the chance to view unique exhibits, sample delicious food and have access to world-class shopping. Kraft Brothers, Inc. is the latest to join the growing list of sponsors of the International Equestrian Festival.
Kraft Brothers, Inc. manufactures unique electro-mechanical oval horse walkers that allow multiple horses to be exercised simultaneously in a controlled manner. Studies show that exercise on the oval loads horses’ limbs with a combination of straight and turning movements –in contrast to the typical round walker- as would be experienced during riding or in free movement. This design offers significant biomechanical advantage to the horse’s wellbeing. Frank and Uwe Kraft, co-founders of the company, have been in the horse industry since 1977, when they began breeding and training horses in Germany. In 2004, the American branch was founded in Paris, Kentucky and has now moved to Winchester, Kentucky.
Their products are known for keeping horses in top-notch physical condition and are used by many well-respected trainers worldwide, including Graham Motion (Herringswell Stables Inc.); Michael Dickinson (Tapeta Farm and Tapeta Footings); Bruce Jackson; Beacon Hill Show Stables; Michael Matz (Vintage Farm); Michael Moran (Applestone Farm); Carl Nafzger and many more. In addition, many established horse facilities such as WinStar Farm, Three Chimney’s, Taylor Made Farms, Overbrook and the world renowned Spanish Riding School in Vienna use Kraft brand horse walkers.
Kraft horse walkers are attractive constructions. The Managing Director of the Spanish Riding School, Elisabeth Guertler states, “The Horse Walker is truly impressive and it does not look intrusive in the courtyard of the Imperial Palace but quite on the contrary, blends beautifully with its surroundings….the walker is certainly a milestone in the history of the Spanish Riding School.”
“We are very pleased about the opportunity to sponsor the International Equestrian Festival,” said Frank Kraft. “The thousands of visitors to Lexington will get to experience all that the great state of Kentucky has to offer.”
